Petition for the Church - Collect
Good and gracious God. Throughout our lives we struggle with the unknowns, the dark times and the questions we have. We thank you, our merciful Father, that you haven’t left us at these times or at any time. We are grateful that you have given us the strength we need to persevere in the face of these hardships and challenges. We also pray that you give us the strength in those opportunities that come before us to share our love of Christ and your mercy with those you are experiencing similar situations in their lives, letting them know they are not alone, that we are there for them and that Jesus died and rose for them. Guide the women of Lutheran Women’s Missionary League – Canada to reflect You. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
